Essiac Tea: These 4 Secret Ingredients Treated Thousands of Cancer Patients

A Canadian nurse, Rene Caisse, may have had the ultimate anticancer formula as she had cured thousands of cancer patients in Canada since the 1920’s. This magic formula was nothing more than tea made of just four simple ingredients –Burdock Root, Turkey Rhubarb (used in Chinese medicine for colon cleansing), Sheep Sorrel (the whole plant including the root) and Slippery Elm (not yellow dock or curly dock as some companies now substitute the herbs in the formulas). It is believed that Rene had been given the recipe by the Canadian Ojibwa Indians.

After successfully threating cancer patients for decades, Caisse was even imprisoned for her actions as these threatened Canadian drug companies. Even then, the drug companies charged a lot of money for their anticancer therapies. And nurse Caisse charged nothing.

When she was imprisoned for ‘practicing medicine without a license’ in 1938, more than 55,000 supporters signed a petition to support what she did. A bill was also presented in Ontario, which would have allowed Caisse to continue to practice ‘treating’ people, but it lost by only three signatures.

She died in 1978, and hundreds of cancer patients were at her funeral to show their respect for the 90-year-old woman who had saved their lives.

In fact, this miraculous tea has her name only spelled backwards, Essiac Tea.

After subjecting it to thorough examination, the Chinese government has now enlisted Essiac tea as a cancer ‘medicine.’ Naturally, Big Pharma and other drug companies which generate huge profit from cancer patients put down the news of this folk remedy just like they put down lots of other natural remedies.

Later, the Essiac tea recipe was modified to include Blessed Thistle, Kelp, Red Clover and Watercress to make it even more powerful.
RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 ½ cups burdock root (cut)
  • 1 pound of sheep sorrel herb (powdered)
  • 1/4 pound of slippery elm bark (powdered)
  • 1 ounce of Turkish rhubarb root (powdered)

METHOD:

  1. Mix all the ingredients.
  2. Store in a glass jar in a dark dry place.
  3. Using a measuring cup, take 1 ounce of herb mixture to 32 ounces of water depending on the amount you want to make.
  4. Boil hard for 10 minutes (covered) then turn off heat but leave on warm plate overnight (covered).
  5. In the morning, heat steam it hot and let settle for a few minutes.
  6. Then strain through a fine strainer into hot sterilized bottles and sit to cool.
  7. Store in a dark cool cupboard.  Must be refrigerated when opened.  When near the last when it’s thick, pour in a large jar and sit in fridge overnight then pour off all you [can] without sediment.

This recipe must be followed exactly as written. Use a granite preserving kettle (10 – 12 qts), 8 ounce measuring cup, and a small funnel to fill bottles.
