Banana recipe against cough:
Ingredients:
- 2 medium ripe bananas (bananas with dots are most beneficial)
- 13/5 oz / 400 ml of boiling water
- 2 tablespoons sugar or honey (honey loses its nutrients at high temperatures, so you should take care to add it when the mixture is slightly cooled)
Method of preparation:
Peel the bananas. Mash them with a fork or a spoon. You should use a wooden or plastic spoon/ fork, since in that way you will prevent bananas from darkening. Add the sugar and stir well. If you decide to use honey, add it at the end, when this mixture is cooled.
Pour the boiling water over them, cover and wait for 30 minutes.
If you want, you can strain the mixture through a plastic strainer.
